hello! I'm Lara.

I'm a (copy)writer and editor specialising in film and culture, and I live and have always lived in South London. I like salty food, mid-century design, music video channels, and every single cat. this is very much my first rodeo.

what am I up to these days?

I head up editorial + manage content and communications for Picturehouse. you'll find my words in your inbox, in Picturehouse Recommends magazine, in audio form on our podcast The Love of Cinema, and inside our cinemas, which is most likely where you’ll find me.

if you'd like to say hi/talk about words or work/spread some gossip, let's chat: I'm on Instagram and Letterboxd being silly, but you can send me a serious email any time you like.

my best pal Maddy made this lovely website. thanks Maddy!
